Going to the movies is better with people—but getting everyone to agree is harder than it should be. RowBuds matches you with a small crew (2–4 students) from your campus who want to watch the same movie around the same time. Everyone books their own ticket and meets at the theatre.
How it works
- Pick a movie and your preferences (day, time, language, theatre).
- RowBuds matches you with a small crew of students.
- Your crew agrees on the final showtime in chat.
- Everyone books their own ticket and meets at the theatre.
What RowBuds is
RowBuds is a coordination platform, not a ticketing app. You continue booking through BookMyShow, District, or your preferred ticketing service.
RowBuds is also not a dating app. Plans are always group-based (2–4 people) and meetups happen in public places like the theatre lobby.
Safety
Every account is linked to a campus email and reviewed before joining the platform. We remove accounts that don’t belong to genuine students.
To make groups more comfortable:
- A woman is never the only woman in a mixed-gender crew.
- Women can choose women-only crews.
- You can leave a crew before booking.
- You can report or block anyone at any time.
