Welcome to RowBuds. By accessing or using RowBuds, you agree to these Terms of Service.

What RowBuds is
RowBuds helps students form small groups (2–4 people) to watch movies together.
RowBuds is a coordination platform only. Everyone books their own ticket using their preferred ticketing service. RowBuds does not sell tickets or organize the movie on behalf of users.
Meetups take place in public locations such as cinema lobbies. We are not a party to any meetup and cannot guarantee that every participant will attend.
Eligibility
To use RowBuds, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be a genuine student of the campus you register with.
- Provide accurate information during registration.
We may review accounts and suspend or remove accounts that appear to contain false or misleading information.
Your responsibilities
By using RowBuds, you agree to:
- Treat other users respectfully.
- Use your real identity.
- Meet only in public places.
- Book and pay for your own movie ticket.
- Follow applicable laws and your campus rules.
You are responsible for your own decisions and personal safety when meeting others.
Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Harass, threaten or intimidate others.
- Impersonate another person.
- Share false or misleading information.
- Scam, spam or misuse the platform.
- Use RowBuds for illegal activities.
- Use RowBuds as a dating platform.
We may suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms.
Safety
RowBuds is designed around small group meetups in public locations.
You may leave a crew at any time before booking your ticket.
If another user makes you uncomfortable, please report or block them through the app or contact hello@rowbuds.com.
Third-party services
RowBuds relies on third-party services such as Google authentication and external movie ticketing platforms.
We are not responsible for the availability, policies or actions of those services.
Disclaimer
RowBuds is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RowBuds is not responsible for:
- User behaviour.
- Missed or cancelled plans.
- No-shows.
- Third-party ticket bookings or payments.
- Losses arising from the use of the service.
Please use your own judgement when meeting people.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of RowBuds after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
